Cabasset 20th c. in late 16th c. style
Almond shaped skull rising to a short stalk at the top, the base of the skull forming a narrow brim. Skull bordered by lining rivets with decorated copper washers. Brim with narrow inward-turned border. Skull formed from two pieces joined at the crease. Inspection of the interior shows signs of the join which was welded from the outside and not from the inside.
